We are dedicated to winning souls for The Kingdom of Heaven by not only displaying our products but also by living a purposeful Christian lifestyle.
IN THE BEGINNING…
How many countless minutes have you spent standing in novelty stores, clothing stores or even observing at a sidewalk vendor booth trying to read all of the "colorful" slogans on various t-shirts, only to realize none of them have real meaning or hope in their messages? It was one of these very shirts that simply stated ‘I love (heart) Music’ that struck a cord in me. I was somewhat unsettled in seeing how we so casually use the word ‘love’ and how we so freely proclaim “our love” for things that can’t and never will be able to save us, but…
I bought the shirt anyway…
On my way home, though, I began to think of all the things I truly do love: my child, my family and music of course but more than anything else-
I LOVE JESUS CHRIST!
At that moment in my mind I saw a vision of the famous ‘I love (heart) NY’ t-shirt and I thought “why not ‘I love Jesus Christ?” Immediately, the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance the scripture: John 12:32 (amp) “And I, if and when I (Jesus) am lifted up from the earth, will draw and attract all peoples to Myself.”
But I didn’t want to just draw people who felt the same way I did. Every one has seen the name Jesus Christ… but wait; no one has ever seen Him referred to (respectfully) as ‘JC’!
Those who know me would think the ‘JC’ (Just Cheryl) refers to me but not so for JC Rockstar. ‘JC’ in this case is short for Jesus Christ. ‘Rockstar’ cites my love or endearment for music and every aspect of it.
I remembered thinking what a simple and yet profound way to touch so many lives in a dying and unsuspecting world and more intimately, a lost or “inquisitive” person who asks the question:
“Who is JC?”
And so it begins…
The reply of course is Jesus Christ.
I refer to JC Rockstar as a "Witnessing 101" tool that you use in witnessing to and fellowshiping with someone who may not know Him.
